Vincenzo Dobboloni, classe 1958 e noto col nome d’arte “Mastro Cencio”, svolge la sua attività di artigianato tradizionale in una bottega posta nel cuore del vecchio agglomerato urbano, a pochi passi dal Forte Sangallo e dal Duomo Cosmatesco, dove dà forma alle sue intuizioni ed al suo estro, dove ogni manufatto che egli realizza diventa dimostrazione di abilità e raffinatezza. Una passione che ha radici profonde e che riflette un amore per la ceramica attraverso le imitazioni ispirate ai modelli dell’arte classica. Dopo aver conseguito nel 1974 il diploma di Maestro d’Arte, sezione ceramica, presso l’Istituto Statale d’Arte di Civita Castellana, inizia a frequentare alcuni laboratori privati di Cerveteri e Tarquinia, dove si riproducevano fedeli copie di vasellame ceramico di ogni stile ed epoca. Lì raffina le tecniche di realizzazione dei manufatti secondo rigorosi procedimenti antichi. Le spiccate attitudini di cui è dotato lo portano a specializzarsi in copie d’autore, difatti la maestria delle sue realizzazioni è tale da aver attirato l’attenzione della televisione e della stampa. Attualmente coopera anche con importanti aziende artigiane nel settore della ceramica e dell’arredamento; restaura ceramiche antiche; produce anche trompe l’oeil, affreschi in stile e mosaici in pietre naturali e paste vitree. La sua produzione artigiana è griffata con marchio di tipicità “Tuscia Viterbese” e contrassegnata dall’importante marchio regionale di eccellenza per l’ Artigianato Artistico Tradizionale d’origine e qualità.

Inoltre nel laboratorio si producono: mattoni dipinti in stile rinascimentale e composizioni artistiche di mattonelle su misura dipinte a mano, complementi d’arredo e coordinati per il soggiorno, la cucina ed il bagno, lampade, vasi, vassoi, orcioli, tazze, acquasantiere, servizi di piatti, zuppiere, oliere, brocche, boccali, panate, catini, epigrafi, targhe e numeri civici personalizzati, oggetti unici con figure sacre d’imitazione, piatti istoriati, lustri, buccheri, crateri e quant’altro riguardi la ceramica archeologica, ceramica fittile con impasti del luogo.

Vincenzo Dobboloni, born in 1958 and known by the name "Master Cencio", engages in the business of traditional crafts in a workshop located in the heart of the old urban area, a short walk from the Duomo and from the Sangallo fort, where he gives form to his insights and inspirations, and where every artifact is a demonstration of skill and sophistication. His is a passion that has deep roots and that reflects a love for ceramics by means of the imitation of classical models. After graduating in 1974 with a diploma of Master of Arts, in Ceramics, from the Art Institute of Civita Castellana, he began to study in private studios in Cerveteri and Tarquinia, where faithful copies of every style and period of ceramic art were reproduced. There he refined the techniques of making ancient artifacts in accordance with strict procedures.  His specific artistic gifts have led him to specialize in art copies, in fact, the mastery of his achievements is such that it attracted the attention of television and the press. Currently he also works with leading companies in the field of artisan ceramics and furniture, he restores antique ceramics, also paints trompe l'oeil frescoes, and executes mosaics in traditional style of natural stone and glass. His production artisan production and design bears the mark of the “Tuscia Viterbese” an important regional label of excellence for continuing the traditional and original Arts and Crafts of quality known in this area of Italy.

Among his other capabilities: tiles painted in Renaissance style and artistic compositions of custom hand-painted tiles, decorative objects for the living room, kitchen and bathroom, lamps, vases, trays, pitchers, bowls, sets of plates, cruet sets, soup tureens, pitchers, mugs, basins, inscriptions, plaques and custom house numbers, unique objects of imitation with holy figures, historical platters, luster wares, Buccheri, kraters and every type of archaeological pottery, made with local ceramic clay.
